Heather + Jude

How you met?
Jude and I knew each other since we were kids. Our families were very close. My mom and his godmother were the best of friends for the longest time and that's how we knew each other. My mom always told me he would be the perfect guy to go on a date with, but the timing was just never right. My senior year of high school I asked Jude to come to the Sadie Hawkins dance with me, but never thought of us anymore than just friends. Then Jude went over to my mom's house for her famous gumbo and I was working, Jude sent me this email telling me all about the gumbo he ate and my mom never told me she even made. After that we kept talking and realized that we were perfect for each other. Our relationship seemed to be moving fast, but we already knew each other's families and alot about each other. I soon realized that he was the one I couldn't live without!
The Proposal?
On July 1, 2007 Jude planned for us to go to the Riverwalk in New Orleans. It was a rainy day but he insisted that we still go since it was indoors. So I got dressed and decided well if he insists maybe he was planning on buying me something fabulous! And yes he did, he looked at me and said "Will you marry me and be my wife?" Of coarse in tears and shock I said YES.
Studio Tran?
The first day I met Beebe was for my bridal portrait and I just absolutely loved him. I'm a type of person that I like to be relaxed and at ease and he totally was the same way. It actually took me longer to get dressed then to take the pictures because he just had an eye for the shots he wanted. When I received the pictures I was amazed, I couldn't even believe that was me. It looked like someone in a bridal magazine. I told Jude all about it and said that he would love him at the wedding. For the wedding I knew I wanted to enjoy the day and not take up all my time taking pictures, Beebe was awesome, we were only taking pictures for like 45 minutes! I would recommend him to anyone!
Thoughts about the day?
November 21, 2008 was the day I had dreamed about since I was a little girl. I couldn't believe how fast time went by to get us to that day. Everything went as planned and we have so many great memories that we will have from that night! I had been stressed out for so long about everything going perfectly, and I couldn't believe that on my wedding day how relaxed I was knowing that everything would fall into place. Our reception was at the Royal Villa, which was the best decision ever! I had nothing to worry about, I only had to tell the wedding coordinator my colors and preferences. Beebe made things so easy, he would say stand here and then we were done. The night went by way too fast, but then it was honeymoon time! |
