USA Today

|

Last night I photographed Diana Newby's wedding. While doing some formals of her before the ceremony in the hotel lobby some reporters from USA Today where there. They took some pictures of Diana over my shoulder and did a short interview. You can view it here: http://blogs.usatoday.com/ondeadline/2008/08/newlyweds-exped.html. They were really nice. Hopefully they get some good shots from the storm. I believe they were staying to report on it. Too bad they spelled my name wrong.

We've had an overwhelming surge of emails from past couples and upcoming brides showing their concern for our safety. We really do have the best couples and want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
Beebe and I will be shooting weddings today and then have plans to evacuate Sunday night or Monday morning. If you need to reach us please email us. We will be checking email as often as possible. We will be bringing with us all computer & camera equipment and all our files.
All bridal and engagement portrait shoots scheduled this week are going to have to be rescheduled. |

Emilio + Jennifer

|

| Emilio & Jennifer were married at the beautiful St. Louis Cathedral and their reception followed at the Riverview Room. The wedding was gorgeous, everything was perfect and everyone had a great time. Susan with Classic Weddings by Susan made sure it was of it! It was nice being back at the Cathedral. That is where we were married so we love going back there. We worked with Chad & Kelly from Chad Dyle Productions |

I'm sorry that I didn't get the chance to make a post regarding myself attending a workshop out of town. I was unable to get to my phone to those who tried to call me.
I did have a great time meeting Cliff and all the other photographers who attended the workshop. We learned a lot from one of the Top 10 wedding photographers in the country. It was a great experience for myself talking to someone with so much experience and knowledge regarding the wedding industry.
This being my first workshop, I think I've gained valuable information that will help me expand our work.
Here are some of the photos I took on our first full day of shooting. |

Myles + Tara

|

I had a absolutely fabulous time at Tara & Myles wedding. The wedding was beautiful and the couple was so sweet. Tara was stunning in her Harold Clark wedding dress. In the days leading up to this wedding I was pretty sick, it was only the day of that I finally felt back to normal. But I already had in place fabulous photographers to take over just in case I couldn't make it. Everyone always wonders what would happen if their photographer can't make it. Well we would find you the best of the best! So Tara & Myles got 4 photographers, myself, my assistant Kristin, Jason Cohen, and his assistant Ben Spell. Jason & Ben arrived early and got lots of great detail shots for me, thank you guys!
I had a great time working with all of them. The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Patricks Church and the reception was held at the Ritz Carlton. The Bucktown Allstars were fabulous as always! |

| Thank you Jason & Ben for getting there before the reception started and getting these fabulous detail shots for me. |
