How did you meet?
Jordan & I met when he was a 14 year old 8th grader & I was a 13 year old 7th grader at a school dance. He came up to me when a slow song began to play and asked me to dance with him…

We grew together through middle school, high school, college, graduate school…. & now, we have amazing photographs that captured our wonderful wedding and are able to begin the next chapter in our lives!

How did the proposal go? Who proposed to who, were you surprised?
Finally, after 10 years of waiting…. he proposed to me on a cobblestone bridge in New Orleans’ City Park after a nice brunch & dessert of bengiets & Coffee.

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
Our Ceremony & Reception were held at the New Orleans Audubon Zoo. The Ceremony took place in front of the beautiful columns of the sea lion exhibit and our reception took place inside the Audubon Tea Room.

What unique or special things did you do at the reception? 
Due to our last names, our wedding occasionally showcased some good old southern charm & it’s jokes about two crazy Cajuns named Boudreaux & Thibodaux.

For example, at our wedding we had a live violinist play the ceremony music, a 2nd line from the ceremony site to the reception area, and Roman Candy.

Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?
Yes! But, thanks to the photographers and videographers… we will be able to relive the moments forever!

Who was your baker, what was the flavor of your cake? Was it delicious?!
Maurice’s French Pastries baked our almond with raspberry filling wedding cake and the groom’s delicious chocolate cake!

id you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself? If you didn’t have a coordinator any advice for brides planning their own wedding?
Our coordinator was Christie Chopin from Mise En Place Events! She was simply amazing and easy to talk to!
