I am a Social Security Disability Attorney and Frank is a Marine Biologist with Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries

What is your favorite thing about each other? Share a personal story.
He loves my smile and how funny I am and I love his compassion and his smile!

How did the proposal go? Who proposed to who, were you surprised?
Frank proposed to me on December 23, 2017 after we decorated the Christmas tree in Slidell. We love Christmas time as my parents were married at Christmas time and it is special for my family.

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
Our ceremony was held at Holy Name of Jesus Church and we picked it because it speaks for itself! It’s gorgeous! I went to undergrad at Loyola and law school at Loyola. Frank’s mom and twin brother all went to Loyola as well.

Where was your Reception held and why did you pick this site?
Our reception was held at Southern Oaks Plantation and we chose this site also because of its beauty and southern charm. It was exquisitely magnificent!

What unique or special things did you do at the reception? 
We had fireworks by surprise with the venue and we did a second line with DJ. Our signing boat was awesome with our wrapped canvas picture of Frank and I in the bayou!

Pick one moment in the day that was your favorite thing?
The moment in the day that was my favorite was when I saw his face and he saw mine when the doors opened for me to walk down the aisle.

Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?
Yes!!!!! It was too fast!

What was the inspiration behind picking the color palette and decor that you picked?
I loved my color palatte and chose it through Pinterest with our bridesmaid Annabelle dresses from Jenny Yoo!

From the Bride – When you first saw the groom, what were you thinking/feeling?
This is my husband and I am the luckiest girl in the world. Don’t cry! I was so very happy that I was about to marry my best friend.

From the groom – When you first saw the bride, what were you thinking/feeling?
Omg BEAUTIFUL and try not to cry.

Did you do a first look?
No we did not want to see each other before the wedding. I did a first look with my father and loved every moment of that!

Did you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself? If you didn’t have a coordinator any advice for brides planning their own wedding?
Didn’t have a coordinator as Holy Name of Jesus Church and Southern Oaks Plantation provides their own.

What was your first dance song? Why this song?
Perfect by Ed Sheeran because that’s how we feel about each other. We are perfect together and forever!

Band or DJ? Did they rock it?
DJ from Southern Oaks Plantation and they were great as I danced my little booty off.
