How did you meet?
We met at the hospital which we both are employed

How did the proposal go? 
Brian proposed to me on Tuesday, November 22, I was supposed to get off of work at 7pm but management let me leave early. Unbeknownst to me my coworkers (and great friends) were notifying Brian to make sure “everything was ready”. I got home and taken outside to see “all of the work he accomplished in the yard”, but was surprised with a wall of pictures of us on each trip we had been on. He had pizza and champagne waiting. Sweetest moment!

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
Holy Name of Jesus in New Orleans. I am from New Orleans and LOVE Holy Name. I was raised Catholic and would not have thought of having a ceremony anywhere else

Where was your Reception held and why did you pick this site?
Audubon Clubhouse. It is set on a beautiful golf course. Kalin and her team were amazing and I couldnt imagine working with anyone else. The food was AMAZING

What was your favorite part of the day?
The entire day! I remember every moment- pausing- to take in what was going on and who was around me . The entire day was special and I wouldnt have changed a thing

Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?
YES!! The reception felt like it was 10 minutes long! Sad but wonderful at the same time

What was the inspiration behind picking the color palette and decor that you picked?
I wanted to choose something that was timeless. I also wanted the colors to compliment the colors from the oak trees and golf course

From the Bride – When you first saw the groom, what were you thinking/feeling?
“He looks so handsome”

Shes hot!

Who was your baker, what was the flavor of your cake? Was it delicious?!
Swiss confectionary- pineapple, strawberry, and almond! I hope so, I only had 1 piece, it was gone before the night ended! Guess I will have to wait until our anniversary!! My one piece was delicious!!

Did you do a first look? If so how did you feel about it? If not, do you wish you had?
No, and no, I wanted to keep it traditional

Did you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself?
I planned it myself. As long as you know what you want and you plan early you can accomplish anything on your own! I would do it again!

What was your first dance song? Why this song?
Tennessee Whiskey- After we listened to the words it just fit us!

Band or DJ? Did they rock it?
Band! The Boogie Men! Totally made the night!

We want to hear YOUR advice for future brides.
As long as you have great entertainment and food the guests could care less about anything else! Maybe make a selfie stick of yourself to pass around so guests can take pictures with that while you dance (kidding Kidding)!! It does go by fast though so have a plan of how to greet everyone while still having time to enjoy the band/dj and dance the night away!
