How did you meet?
We met several years ago at my nieces’ Sweet 16 Birthday party. He was married at that time and I was in a relationship. After Kenneth became divorced, my niece thought that it would be a good idea to hook us up.
My niece told Kenneth that I was interested in him…not true at the time..
She also told me that Kenneth was interested in me…not true as well..
Kenneth and I both fell for her trick… we became inseparable.

Include a little bit about yourselves. What do you do?
I am a flight attendant for American Airlines and also an Associate Consultant for Clinique Cosmetics.
Kenneth is a Marine who has recently retired as a Kenner Police Officer.
He is currently employed as a police officer at the VA hospital in New Orleans

what is your favorite thing about each other? Share a personal story.
My favorite thing about Kenneth is that he can do anything.
If it’s broken… he can fix it…
He’s also a great cook..

How did the proposal go? Who proposed to who, were you surprised?
Kenneth proposed to me at my favorite hang out..

We were both surprised because it was our first date after a year long breakup.

Where was your ceremony and reception held and why did you pick this site?
Our wedding ceremony and reception was held at his residence. A large outdoor tent wedding. We chose this venue because wanted our friends and family to enjoy as long as they wanted.

What unique or special things did you do at the reception? 
The most unique thing about our beautiful tent wedding was the suspended 7 tier cake.

What was your favorite part of the day?
My favorite part of my wedding day was the gorgeous weather for an outdoor ceremony.
Also, the horse and carriage to the Wedding.

Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?
My wedding reception went well in to the midnight hour as our neighbors danced and partied all night…
