How did you meet?
We met in college at Southeastern in Hammond. We then realized we both grew up in Slidell and went to the same high school. We also figured out that we lived in the same apartment complex in college and our parents lived in the same neighborhood in Slidell.

How did the proposal go? Who proposed to who, were you surprised?
We got engaged at Celebration in the Oaks in City Park. We went with another couple, our best friends
<, who we would always do things with so to me, it was just another normal outing. Chad started getting really weird and he kept telling our friend Shelby he wanted to go by this one place to take pictures (which he HATES taking pictures) but I didn’t really think anything of it. We go by this tree covered in lights and that’s where he got down on one knee! We then went back to his parents house in Slidell and my parents, along with some of our closest friends were there to celebrate.

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
We did both at the Riverview Room in New Orleans. We picked this venue because of its location and how it overlooks the River and we knew all of the lights at night would be pretty.

Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?
Yes!!! It FLEW by!

Band or DJ? Did they rock it?
Band. Groovy 7 and they were AMAZING!!!

This was extremely helpful. It made everyone stay on track. We had a huge bridal party so it was easier to keep everyone together for pictures with this timeline.
