He is AMAZING. He is kind and genuine. She is loyal, committed, and trustworthy. She is also BEAUTIFUL

How did the proposal go? Who proposed to who, were you surprised?
We went to dinner for my birthday. He invited my children. During dinner he made an announcement that he needed have everyone’s attention. He then asks my children for my hand in marriage. They said yes, of course. He then turns to me and says “Will you marry me?”

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
Arbor Room and Popp Fountain in City Park. I thought the setting was beautiful and very romantic.

Where was your Reception held and why did you pick this site?
It was held at the Arbor Room.

What unique or special things did you do at the reception? (for example, ice sculptures, live painter, glow sticks, sun glasses, 2nd line band, mardi gras indians, memory table, the list goes on of fun things you may have done)
Live Band, DJ, Second Line Band, and Zulu Tramps!!!

Pick one moment in the day that was your favorite thing?
The Bridal Party danced out of the ceremony.

Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?
Yesssss!!!

What was the inspiration behind picking the color palette and decor that you picked?
I wanted elegance and dramatic beauty.

I am so Blessed to be marrying the man of my dreams.

From the groom – When you first saw the bride, what were you thinking/feeling?
I’m a Blessed man.

Who was your baker, what was the flavor of your cake? Was it delicious?!

Did you do a first look?
I wish I had, but when he saw me walking down the aisle, he was very happy.

Did you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself? 
I planned along with my sister Galyn and my daughters Aurejana and Kai.
