Where was your ceremony and reception held and why did you pick this site?
Our ceremony and reception was at Rosy’s Jazz Hall in New Orleans. We chose to marry at Rosy’s because it embodied everything that we were looking for. We wanted a venue that was historic, charming, and intimate. We knew Rosy’s was the place as soon as we saw it.

What was the inspiration behind picking the color palette and decor that you picked?
We chose purple, green, and gold as the color palette because it is correlated with Mardi Gras.

Who was your baker, what was the flavor of your cake? Was it delicious?!
We chose Haydel’s for the four-tiered king cake. A Mardi Gras wedding has to have a king cake!

Did you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself? If you didn’t have a coordinator any advice for brides planning their own wedding?
We planned everything ourselves. We worked together and planned an event that reflected who we are, what we love, and we hope it was enjoyed by those we love.

What was your first dance song? Why this song?
We chose Dispatch “Out Loud”.

Band or DJ? Did they rock it?
DJ. Aaron Lane was fantastic!
