How did you meet?
We met working together at the Broadway Dallas theatre.

Include a little bit about yourselves. What do you do?
Amber is a Louisiana local, from Slidell Louisiana, and Raynard is from Dallas, Texas. We love to travel and spend time with friends/family.

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
Ceremony was held at the Sea Lion Exhibit at the Audubon Zoo. We wanted to have the ceremony at a venue somewhere we would remember.

Where was your Reception held and why did you pick this site?
The reception was at the Audubon Tea Room.

What unique or special things did you do at the reception?
We had a second line band and mardi gras indians.

Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?
Very quick.
What was the inspiration behind picking the color palette and decor that you picked?
I chose colors that matched my parents’ wedding colors.

Did you have a coordinator or did you plan everything yourself? If you didn’t have a coordinator any advice for brides planning their own wedding?
I did have a wedding planner, which was the best decision I made. It gave us peace of mind, knowing everything was taken care of .

What was your first dance song? Why this song?
Eric Benet- Spend my life with you

Band or DJ? Did they rock it?
DJ- he did great.

Get a wedding planner, and enjoy the day. It does go by really fast.
