How did you meet?
At Red Eye Bar & Grill (we found love in a hopeless place right Rihanna haha!)

Joel loves to cook! Ashley loves to eat everything Joel cooks!

How did the proposal go? Who proposed to who, were you surprised?
Joel caught Ashley off guard and proposed under a cherry blossom tree at a vineyard in Portland, Oregon

Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?
Immaculate Conception Jesuit Church in New Orleans – bc of its elegance

Where was your Reception held and why did you pick this site?
The Chicory – bc of it’s New Orleans style

What unique or special things did you do at the reception? 
Alex Harvie Oil Painting

Pick one moment in the day that was your favorite thing?
Joel – seeing Ashley come down the aisle for the time
Ashley – being announced as Mr. and Mrs. Joel Goynes

Did it really go by as quickly as everyone says?
YESSSSSSS

What was the inspiration behind picking the color palette and decor that you picked?
Ashley loves purple!

From the Bride – When you first saw the groom, what were you thinking/feeling?
Ashley kept thinking “Please don’t trip!” -( but whoops I did that during the Ave Maria !!!) … and remember to smile !

From the groom – When you first saw the bride, what were you thinking/feeling?
Joel remembers how beautiful Ashley looked and how beautiful she is!

Who was your baker, what was the flavor of your cake? Was it delicious?!
Haydels! So yummy especially the groom’s cake!

What was your first dance song? Why this song?
Ray LaMontagne – you are the best thing … self-explanatory (we’re the best thing for one another) 🙂

Band or DJ? Did they rock it?
Stormy the Band – so rocked it! They did their version Bohemian Rhapsody! Everyone loved it!
